Area of Greatest Need
Unleash Restrictions – Support NIU’s Top Priorities

The past year has taught the world to expect the unexpected. More than ever before, NIU must have the flexibility to respond to the swiftly changing areas of greatest need within our campus community.

This undesignated pool of generosity will strengthen the NIU Foundation’s ability to respond to new challenges and opportunities as they arise. Examples of projects and programs benefitting from these funds include summer research stipends, scholarships, alumni programming as well as providing direct connections to the private sector that support philanthropic engagement and secure resources. Your unrestricted gift will elevate our ability to adapt in the coming year and continue to support the outstanding students, faculty and academic endeavors at NIU.
