Thousands Strong

In 2019, the NIU Annuitants Association established an endowment with the NIU Foundation to fund scholarships awarded annually to students in each of the university’s seven degree granting colleges on a rotating basis.  It has now funded scholarships to students in the Colleges of Business and Education.

The Association is participating in the Thousands Strong event to further its goal of increasing both the amount and number of scholarships its endowment can support in the future.  Donations to the Scholarship Fund will help to achieve this goal and be a benefit to both the scholarship recipients and the university.
