*** If you have been an ambassador for a day of giving in the past (e.g. Huskies United, Thousands Strong) you will still need to click the gray "sign up" button on the right-hand side of this screen to register for Huskies United 2022. Then you can sign-in to your account. ***

Beginning at 4:25 p.m. on June 22, the NIU Foundation will host Huskies United, an opportunity for members of the Huskie family to come together and help move NIU forward!

During this time, Huskie Nation will come together and show their Huskie Pride by supporting NIU students and the University's top priorities. You can help ensure this day is a great success by sharing your passion for NIU with your networks and inspiring others to follow your example and make a gift to one of the highlighted funds.

Days of giving are “digital pep rallies” designed to increase donor participation (particularly new and younger donors). They also help ignite online communities’ pride by inspiring them to share why they love their alma mater. Days of giving are most successful when a large number of alumni and friends are helping create buzz and encouraging their peers to get involved.

We are asking Ambassadors to be NIU’s digital leaders, sharing messages and creating excitement about Huskies United before and during the campaign. Your help spreading awareness within your network (using your preferred forms of communication – email, text, phone, social media, etc.) will be truly appreciated.

All Ambassadors will have access to an individualized online “Ambassador Dashboard” prior to the day of giving, a digital engagement resource webpage, and a live training prior to the event. The Ambassador Dashboard allows Ambassadors to track their impact for the day and contains each ambassador’s personalized giving link, which can be used to encourage others to give.
