Students in the NIU Esports program exemplify the Huskie spirit in everything they do. Through teamwork and
dedication, they practice and play nearly every day of the week, always performing at their best to represent NIU in the Esports Collegiate Conference. While the students in our program come from a wide variety of personal and academic backgrounds; they share a passion to accomplish their common goal - being the best they can be. They learn valuable skills related to teamwork, cooperation and competition - skills that will assist them after they leave NIU and pursue their professional careers.
Some find themselves at a crossroads where they must make a choice between getting a part-time job to finance their education and being a collegiate esports athlete. Your generous support of the NIU Esports Scholarship Fund recognizes our students' hard work and dedication and helps ease their financial burden. Our program is not supported by tuition dollars or student fees. Your donation really matters to our students!
