The Golden Hearts Scholarship was created to honor the memory of Trevor Wehner and Clay Parks, two Huskies who represented the best of NIU: smart and committed to making the world better, with their hearts of gold. Through these scholarships, NIU will have to opportunity to memorialize Trevor and Clay, recognize their positive and generous spirits, their accomplishments, and the hopes and dreams they held when they were taken from us on February 15, 2019.
Golden Hearts Scholarship Challenge
The Trevor Wehner Memorial Scholarship will match all gifts made to the Golden Hearts Scholarship dollar-for-dollar up to $27,000.
This opportunity to have your donation matched by the Trevor Wehner Memorial Scholarship Fund will help us honor Trevor and Clay by supporting current NIU students and grow the fund to endowment so their Golden Hearts can be honored in perpetuity.
