The mission of the Northern Illinois University Latino Alumni Council is to maximize the academic and social experience of Latina/o/x at Northern Illinois University (NIU), to serve as a representative voice for Latina/o/x alumni and to assist in the unification of alumni efforts to further and support the interests of NIU. These goals shall be accomplished through networking, advocacy, and actively engaging Latina/o/x members of the NIU community and others.
This year we are launching the Latino Alumni Council Scholarship. As alumni, we know the significance of a college degree not only for ourselves but what it means for our families and community.
Many of our lives have been significantly impacted by scholarship support. Therefore, your contributions will help the NIU Latino Alumni Council make a difference in the lives of students through scholarship opportunities that will help retain and graduate current and future Huskies.
