Huskies Supporting Huskies

The Undocumented Student Resource Center (USRC) centers the experiences of undocumented and mixed-status students at NIU. The USRC coordinates support, advocacy, programming assistance, and referrals that support educational equity for undocumented and mixed-status students and their allies.

This year we will be accepting donations for the Immediate Assistance Fund for Undocumented Students.

The Immediate Assistance Fund provides small grants for the emergency needs of undocumented students. A grant could help a student with partial rental or medical bill assistance, buy an expensive but mandatory textbook, or pay a DACA renewal fee. Huskies appreciate the assistance no matter the donation amount - all donations help!
