Thousands Strong Has Ended, But You Can Still Make a Gift by Clicking Here
Support CHHS Huskies during this Day of Giving!

We are CHHS.

The College of Health and Human Sciences (CHHS) transforms students’ lives through active, engaged learning and hands-on research with a world-class faculty. Our students participate in clinicals, practicums and field experiences that combine classroom and real-world experiences. We create new knowledge to solve real world problems and produce graduates who are flexible, outward looking and career ready.

Your support is an investment in the people and potential of NIU.

We have a proud history of preparing future caregivers, service providers and researchers. We rely on your gifts to help students’ dreams come true. These funds help students continue their coursework, travel to conferences to present research, and participate in study abroad programs. Your contributions are also used to keep our classrooms and laboratory equipment up to date, which is crucial to preparing our graduates for job success.

Thousands Strong changes lives at NIU and beyond.

When you help any of our programs, you are also contributing to the health and happiness of the individuals our alumni serve. Your gift helps tomorrow’s audiologists, physical therapists, public health workers, speech-language pathologists, medical laboratory scientists, nurses, dieticians, early childhood educators, marriage and family therapists, and other health and human sciences leaders.

Unleash the potential.

To maximize your Day of Giving contribution, we have a college-wide challenge to help increase the impact of your gift. Can you help us unleash the following CHHS Huskie Challenges that will unlock additional donations?

      • CHHS Leadership Challenge: The CHHS leadership team wants to see a strong kick-off to our giving day! When 30 gifts total are made to any area in the college, it will unlock a gift of $2,650.

      • CHHS Momentum Challenge:  An anonymous donor is offering a challenge to encourage gifts to CHHS! When 60 gifts total are made to any area in the college, it will unlock a gift of $6,000.

      • CHHS Achievement Challenge:  An anonymous donor wants to help CHHS set a new giving day record! When 100 gifts total are made to any area in the college, it will unlock a gift of $15,000.
