ADEI: Undocumented Student Support

The Latino Alumni Council (LAC) is focused on supporting Latino students and providing networking opportunities to alumni. The mission of the Northern Illinois University Latino Alumni Council is to maximize the academic and social experience of Latinos at NIU, to serve as a representative voice for Latino alumni and to assist in the unification of alumni efforts to further and support the interests of Northern Illinois University. LAC endorses supporting The Promise Fund.

The Promise Fund provides scholarships to undocumented students who work hard and deserve access to the opportunities they have earned. It assists undocumented students remain in school, attain their degrees, and gain a firmer foothold on a brighter future. It is endorsed by the Latino Alumni Council.
