Support our College of Health and Human Sciences Huskies this Day of Giving!

The College of Health and Human Sciences (CHHS) transforms students’ lives through active, engaged learning and hands-on research with a world-class faculty. Our students participate in clinicals, practicums and field experiences that combine classroom and real-world experiences. We create new knowledge to solve real world problems and produce graduates who are flexible, outward looking and career ready.

We rely on your gifts to help students’ dreams come true. In 2018, our college awarded students over $400,000. These funds help students continue their coursework, travel to conferences to present research, and participate in study abroad programs. Your contributions are also used to keep our classrooms and laboratory equipment up to date, which is crucial to preparing our graduates for job success.

When you help any of our programs, you are also contributing to the health and happiness of the individuals our alumni serve. Your gift helps tomorrow’s audiologists, medical laboratory scientists, nurses, dieticians, childcare providers, and other health and human sciences leaders.

To maximize your Day of Giving contribution, we have several challenges to help increase the impact of your gift:

  • HHS Leadership Team Challenge: When HHS reaches 60 total donors, leadership will add $4,000 to our HHS giving day totals.
  • Nursing Challenge: When 30 donors support NIU Nursing, anonymous donors will release $12,050 to the School of Nursing.
  • Isenhart Challenge: When 10 gifts are made to Nutrition and Dietetics or Human Development and Family Studies Roxanne Isenhart '77 will add $8,500 to our HHS giving day totals.

Join the CHHS leadership and support our College of Health and Human Sciences students today. Go Huskies!
