With a three-decade history of developing high-achieving alumni, the College of Engineering and Engineering Technology continues its legacy of investing in Northern Illinois University students and making a robust impact throughout the region.

Our faculty are engaged in a broad array of research sponsored by private industry and agencies such as the National Science Foundation, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, Argonne National Laboratory, the State of Illinois and more.

Research isn't just limited to faculty. Students are encouraged to dive in and start exploring too - even in their freshman year! By combining traditional classroom learning with hands-on research opportunities our students are well-prepared by the time they enter our global workforce.

As we look to continue our tradition of unleashing potential and innovation in our students, the College of Engineering and Engineering Technology is focused on increasing support for the strategic priorities of the college, student scholarships and engaged learning opportunities.

Please join us on the NIU Day of Giving and help support the area or program you are most passionate about at the College of Engineering and Engineering Technology.
